How to make change and transformation work in an increasingly complex world

While companies find it easy to kick off transformation programmes, they find it much harder to make the change stick or even get implementation complete. Around 70-80% of transformation programs fail (Source: McKinsey). Areas where this can be improved is to include change communications as a key in everything we do to alongside normal change and project management techniques. This includes creating a psychological ‘contract’ with their employees to accept and embrace the change.

Beyond the Buzzword: Implementing Digital Twins for Real-World Manufacturing ROI

In today’s competitive landscape, UK manufacturers are facing increasing pressure to innovate and digitise. While “Digital Twin” technology is a major topic of discussion, its practical application and true business value can often be unclear. This session will cut through the hype to provide a strategic, outcomes-focused guide to implementing digital twins. We will explore how creating a dimensionally perfect, data-rich replica of your manufacturing environment can break down data silos, eliminate operational blind spots, and transform disconnected data into your most powerful tool for growth and efficiency. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of how this technology moves from a theoretical concept to a practical solution that delivers measurable returns.

• Solving Today’s Problems: How can a digital twin address immediate challenges in your facility, from optimising production flows and enabling predictive maintenance to improving on-site safety and training?
• A Practical Roadmap: What are the foundational steps to creating a “single source of truth”? We’ll discuss the process of high-precision 3D scanning, integrating key enterprise data, and enabling actionable insights for your teams.
• Quantifying the Impact: How can you measure the success of a digital twin? We will look at real-world examples and key metrics, including accelerated project rollouts, reductions in physical site visits, and significant energy savings.
• De-Risking the Future: In a volatile market, how can a living digital replica help you simulate and validate future changes from new equipment testing to workflow redesigns, before committing to capital-intensive investments?
