KEMET MSA was acquired in 2017 from the previous owner NEC Tokin, which was dominantly active in the Asian region. Michael Freitag’s role as Magnetics, Sensors and Actuators Product Management Director is dedicated to build up the business in Europe with industrial and automotive customers through technical consultation in all product areas and develop customized solutions.

Michael has a Master Degree in Electronics from FH Dortmund, served two years in gas measurement analyser industry (service and sales) and served 17 years in various roles for KEMET – sales / BDM / technical consultant before progressing to his current role in 2017.
