Josef Kriegmair works as Representative Production Turbine Blade / Structure Castings at MTU Aero Engines AG Center Production. Since 2010, his main task has been the development and implementation of digital process chains and manufacturing intelligence systems for turbine blades and structure castings. Prior to that, he was in production engineering with a focus on technology development for production and for maintenance, repair and overhaul. He hold roles in logistics and plant maintenance at MTU Aero Engines from 1997 to 2001. Josef started in technical procurement at MTU.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering focus Production Technology and a degree in Industrial Engineering focus Project Management and Technology Management.

Neomar is an accomplished inventor, developer and technology aficionado who has been in Electronics for more than 20 years developing hardware, firmware, sensors and user interfaces. Neomar has filed more than 40 patents and in his current position, he has been leading a team focused on Sensors and Electromechanical Actuators for more than 3 years. The work performed has actualized into component deployment on a global scale and across multiple home appliance platforms. In the Technology space, Neomar has faced numerous challenges head on while working to apply and debug Sensor based systems. Through this work he has gained the understanding of the complexity and key points associated with the technology on a very elevated scale. From an educational perspective, Neomar holds an Executive MBA, a Masters in Electronics and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Dr. Christine Richardson is the Director of Sensor Technology at Ecolab. Dr. Richardson has over 20 years of technology leadership experience and prior to joining Ecolab was CTO at Rubicon Technology and VP, Crystal Growth Systems Development and Engineering for GT Advanced Technologies. Her earlier experience includes leading photovoltaic technology development for GTAT; Senior Director of Advanced Process Development for Evergreen Solar; and process development engineering for Advanced Micro Devices.

Dr. Richardson has her Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the California Institute of Technology, M.S. degrees in Applied Physics and Materials Science and Engineering from Harvard University and Stanford University respectively, and a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.

Steve Rymell joined Airbus in 2000, having held roles within the IT & Security organisations of well-known companies from the Automobile sector to Fast Moving Consumer Goods.

He started at Airbus as IT strategist within the satellite division and was appointed as CIO in 2003.

In Jan 2007, he took a Directorship within the UK government, ensuring security for overseas parts of the government. 

He returned to Airbus in April 2011 and moved to the CyberSecurity organisation. Since then Steven has been part of the executive team, shaping the development of the organisation through 9 years of rapid growth.

His 38 years of experience are focused on leading Cyber Technology Strategy, choosing cyber technologies, and developing future capabilities.

Dr. Hassan is currently working as a Leader of the IRI Innovation, Innovation Projects – Nuclear – Ontario Power Generation (OPG). The Innovation group participates in different nuclear reactor inspection, monitoring and maintenance projects such as, Machine Vision IFMED, AI Expert Systems IERS, Drone Inspection, Intelligent FME Detection, Single Fuel Channel Replacement (SFCR), C/T replacement, BR projects, etc.  Dr. Hassan was assigned to help the group to introduce new Smart Technologies which eventually result in better performance, reduced time, dose, and cost leading to operational excellence.

Dr. Hassan received his Ph.D. in 1990 in Industrial Automation. He was elected to work as an assistant professor of industrial automation and robotics.  Dr. Hassan worked as a head of the Robot Research Lab and he has several published researches.  

Dr. Hassan selected to switch from the academic career to the field of consultancy. He worked in several positions as an Engineering Consultant, until 2006, when he chose to join the nuclear industry, where his industrial and academic experience may be helpful.

Over his academic and industrial career, he has been active in various capacities with several professional organizations, including the Academy of Scientific Research, IEEE, The Canadian Society of Mechanical Engineers, The National Research Center, The Project Management Institute, and the Professional Engineers of Ontario. 

Dr. Hassan had his M. Sc. Degree in Material Science (Composite Material) in 1986 and he graduated from ASU, as a mechanical engineer in 1981.

Jesus Flores has 20 years of experience in the development and implementation of monitoring technologies, advanced process control and advanced analytics solutions.  Jesus has been with Praxair/Linde since 2004 where he currently manages the Smart Operations and Advanced Technologies Group in Linde’s Center of Excellence.  The Smart Operations and Advanced Technologies Group develops and implements novel monitoring, instrumentation, machine learning, IIoT and process control solutions to improve the efficiency and reliability of Linde’s processes and systems. 

Jesus’ experience includes multivariate statistics, automation, novel sensors and advanced process control among others.  Jesus leverages his technical expertise, multidisciplinary project management skills and business insights to solve complex problems in collaboration with diverse business units. 

Jesus holds a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University and he is author or co-author of more than 20 peer reviewed journal papers. Jesus is also a frequent reviewer in many Journals and an invited speaker to multiple industrial and academic forums. He and his team actively collaborate with multiple universities and research consortia in the process systems engineering area.

Juhi has over 5 years of industry experience as an IoT expert and currently works for Centre for Intelligent Power in Pune, India. Apart from manufacturing, she has experience working on other domains like retail, healthcare. She has published a number of papers and patents.

Juhi’s current interests include Edge computing, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Robotics. She is currently working on using data science techniques aimed at improving energy consumption and improving OEE for factories and buildings.

Barrie is the Global Product Manager for Mobile Solutions within the innovation and business development organisation of SKF, the world’s largest bearing manufacturer.

With an electrical and electronic engineering background, Barrie has worked in design engineering, project management, business development and most recently responsible for SKF’s offering of portable vibration analysers and solutions.

Combining wireless sensors, with smart mobile apps and SKF’s web-based condition monitoring software, users can prevent costly, unplanned downtime using SKF tools and knowledge as part of a rotating equipment performance programme.
