As Head of Global Manufacturing Luca Labriola is responsible for all manufacturing activities supporting the different businesses in Personal health, Image Guided Therapy, Precision Diagnosis and Connected Care. He is passionate about bringing operational excellence into practice continuously improving every aspect of the manufacturing process, whether it concerns in-house production, contract manufacturing or new product introductions. To him driving a strategy goes hand in hand with understanding the customer, as well as the details at the point of impact; the Gemba. 

Luca has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, at the University of Ancona Italy and started his career in the car manufacturing industry with Fiat. He has held multiple international leadership roles in Honeywell working in Turbo Technologies as well as Transportation System where he was responsible for multiple transformation and standardization programs. At Philips he has been responsible for Personal Care Operations after which he was Head of Manufacturing Products. Innovating in manufacturing and contributing to the sustainability agenda of Philips have his keen interest. Luca is a seasoned coach in Lean and is energized by building inclusive teams and supporting people in their personal growth.
