Jorge is an strategist passionate about Innovation, Technology and how the Digital revolution is impacting our lives and reshaping industries’ status quo. His professional career blends deep Innovation and Digital Tech expertise with strategic vision and business acumen. He currently leads the Innovation, Strategy & Experience team of AstraZeneca Spain, focusing in the development of innovative solutions for patients and HCP professionals. Previously he worked for Telefónica Group (2013-2021), holding different roles in its Digital Organisation, such as Head of Strategy & M&A for Internet of Things, AI and Blockchain (2020-21), or Global Innovation Chieff of Staff (2018-20). He commenced his professional career as a Strategy consultant at Accenture (2008-13)
His academic profile combines technical expertise as Telco Engineer from the Universidad San Pablo CEU (2008) with business & financial foundations provided by postgraduates programs as the Advanced Management Program of IESE Business School (2018) and an Accenture in-company Executive MBA by IE Business School (2012).
