Jeremy Gerard is a lead developer on Tyson’s Emerging Technology team specializing in machine learning, computer vision, and robotics. With a dual degree in Neuroscience and Mathematics from Temple University, his early work around biomimetic learning algorithms and cerebellar microcircuit theory has led to an unorthodox entry into the IT world, and has provided him with a unique approach to solving practical real-world problems through the lens of information theoretic principles realized through technology.

Jeremy has architected and deployed fully scalable and automated edge-to-cloud data pipelines and MLOps infrastructure, productionalizing several ML and CV solutions company-wide. He hopes to continue to drive change through demonstrating the power of data and automation to transform industry at all scales.
