Daniele Bruno works as Autonomous Driving Simulation Engineer in the Advanced Engineering division of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. He is responsible for the development of physical models of Autonomous Driving systems and their integration into a large-scale simulation architecture. He also works to improve the Software-in-the-Loop techniques used for self-driving features validation; by performing correlation with experimental tests, he ensures that simulation models have adequate accuracy with respect to the real vehicle.

Before joining FCA in 2019, he had worked in the Lufthansa Technik engineering headquarters as a researcher for Politecnico di Torino. There, he had developed a series of automated procedures for the diagnosis and maintenance of aeronautic servocontrols, by employing robotized test benches, high-fidelity simulation models and AI-assisted methods.

He graduated with highest honors from Politecnico di Torino with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics. Currently, he is also a candidate for a Post-Graduate Specializing Master in Electrified and Connected Vehicle Engineering.
